PURPOSE: To estimate a fading pitch with high precision in a device estimating the fading pitch in the mobile radio system of the after-detection diversity reception system.
CONSTITUTION: The mobile device radio system of the after-detection diversity reception system having two systems of antennas, a reception circuit and a detector and selecting and receiving a detection output of a branch with a higher reception level is provided with a discrimination circuit 8, which discriminates a branch with a higher reception level as the result of comparison of the reception levels of the two branches, with a storage circuit 9 to store a branch whose reception level is higher and to provide an output, then fading pitch is estimated based on the reception level information of one selected branch.
