Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent overheat of a catalyst device and improve fuel consumption by providing a high limit value matching to a rotational speed in an estimated value of an temperature of an exhaust system, so as to prevent practical action of increasing an OTP quantity through erroneously high estimation of the temperature of the exhaust system. CONSTITUTION:In an internal combustion engine 10, a fuel injection valve 12 is arranged in an intake passage 11, and a catalyst device 14 is arranged in an exhaust passage 13. In this case, load of the internal combustion engine 10 is detected by a means 15, and a rotational speed is detected by a means 16. A fuel injection quantity is calculated by a means 17 based on the load and the rotational speed. On the other hand, the temperature of the exhaust system of the internal combustion engine 10 is estimated by a means 18. When the estimated temperature of the exhaust system becomes a judgement value, or more, the fuel injection quantity is increasingly compensated. By this constitution, a high limit value matching the rotational speed of an engine is set in the estimated temperature of the exhaust system by a means 20.
