PURPOSE: To enable the use of the same coping for a snap impression and precision impression for reproducing the position of an implant fixture or an abutment connected to this implant fixture on a model.

CONSTITUTION: This coping consists of a coping body 4 and a screw body 5 inscribed with external screw threads to be inserted into a through-hole 4a formed at the center of this body 4. The body 4 consists of a bone side part 4b which is 1 to 5mm in the axial length expanding in diameter from a contact part 4b on an oral inner side toward an oral inner side direction and has a taper of an inclination angle 2 to 40° with the axis and an oral inner side part 4d which is formed in succession thereto and has a taper narrowing in diameter toward the oral inner side direction. The flank thereof is provided with a plane part 4e which has an end edge 4f at the end the oral inner side part 4d on the side opposite to the bone side part 4c on near thereof constitutes the part shortest in the distance of the center of the end edge 4f part from the axial center of a part thereof or one part of the part which is shortest.
