PURPOSE: To shorten the processing time and the operation time for slip output by gathering data from plural lower-rank data processors to a higher-rank data processor.

CONSTITUTION: A data gathering processing part 41 of a higher-rank data processor 4 accepts data stored in lower-rank data processors (portable terminals) 2 through a communication processing device 3 to generate a transaction file 6 and outputs gathered information and form output indication information to a print file 7 and a system shared area 8. A gathered information monitor part 421 of a slip output processing part 42 always monitors gathered information in the system shared area; and when data is gathered, the control is transferred to slip output processing parts 422 to 425 to perform the slip output processing.
