PURPOSE: To raise work efficiency of wire stretching by pulling specified parts of a transmission line by electric winches fitted to the insulator sets of a steel tower, and increasing the tractive force of the electric winches by the use of a plurality of pulleys.
CONSTITUTION: Electric winches 2 are fitted to yokes 31 fitted to the tips of insulator sets 12 on the ground, and are fitted to arms 11 of a steel tower 1 by lifting the insulator sets 12. For example, tightening of two overhead transmission lines out of six conductors is performed in the following way. Anchor clamps 32 are fitted to specified two spots of a transmission line 4 stretched by a stretching pulley 35, and wire-tightening wires 34 are combined with semi-pulleys 33 fitted to the anchor clamps 32 and dual upper yokes 31c. And the transmission line 4 stretched is tightened up by winding up the wire- stretching wires 34 with the electric winches 2. Stretching of the transmission line 4 is completed by connecting the anchor clamps 32 of the transmission line 4 tightened up, and metal fittings 13 of the insulator sets fitted to the dual yokes 31c.
