Title:
VIBRATIONPROOF AND SOUNDPROOF RAIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0762514
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the vibrationproof and soundproof rail which suppresses the noise to be generated by contact of wheels and the rail during traveling of trains.

CONSTITUTION: This rail is constituted by thermally spraying ceramics having low strength and ceramics having the strength higher than this ceramics over the entire surface of the rail 1 exclusive of the vehicle contact surfaces at the summit surface A and top flank B of the rail 1 to ≥0.15mm and ≤0.25mm thickness so as to have ≤5mm total thickness respectively alternately and has excellent vibrationproof and soundproof characteristics. The rail is constituted by thermally spraying a metal having low strength and ceramics having the strength higher than this metal on the rail to ≥0.15mm and ≤0.25mm thickness so as to have ≤5mm total thickness respectively alternately and has the excellent vibrationproof and soundproof characteristics. Further, the rail is constituted by subjecting the surface of the outermost layer film of the rail alternately coated with the ceramics varying in the strength or the metal and ceramics varying in the strength to resin coating to ≥0.10mm to ≤0.5mm and has the excellent vibrationproof and soundproof characteristics.
