Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reproduce a pattern whose original mark rate is 1/2 corresponding to a mark rate 1/4 or 1/8 in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A mark rate reproduction circuit 21 generates a tentative reproduction pattern whose mark rate is 1/2 corresponding to a mark rate 1/4 or 1/8 and inputs the pattern to a pseudo random pattern generating circuit 22. Moreover, the pattern is fed to a true state data storage circuit 23, and its bit '1' is stored as true data. An AND circuit 24 detects that shift data corresponding to a feedback stage and a final stage of the pattern generating circuit 22 are both true, the pattern generating circuit 22 receives feedback data in place of the tentative reproduction pattern and true data are stored in the storage circuit 23. An output of the AND circuit 24 is detected by a counter 25, the pattern generating circuit 22 is set to a self-running state and a pattern whose original mark rate is 1/2 is continuously obtained.
