Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a low-cost catalyst suitable for use in a plant for producing hydrogen for a fuel cell, having such performance as a long service life, high activity and high-strength and capable of operation in a low ratio of steam to carbon.
CONSTITUTION: Lanthanum oxide and cobalt are parried as cocatalysts on an alumina carrier with zirconia carried using a zirconia sol as a precursor and ruthenium is incorporated as an active component to obtain the objective catalyst.
