PURPOSE: To obtain an equipment for automatically setting analytical conditions simply with no input error and a method for selecting the analytical conditions in chromatography.

CONSTITUTION: In the chromatography, 'sample name' and 'column name' are inputted at a measurement condition input section 5 and a measurement condition file 8 is selected, as an optimal analytical condition file, from a measurement condition memory section 7 through the function of an optimal condition file selecting section 10 thus setting optimal measurement conditions automatically through the function of a main control section 6. This constitution allows automatic setting of measurement conditions easily with no input error in chromatography.
