Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to lay cables to a control board, device by device, and to facilitate operation by sending a detection signal to the control board when an address set in a switch part coincides with an address signal sent from the control board. CONSTITUTION:Addresses which are set by the switch part 48 are assigned to photoelectric switches 20 provided in monitor areas. Then a switch 20 as a body detecting means generates an output signal corresponding to a detection result, i.e. whether there is a body or not. Here, a coincidence detection part 42 judges whether or not an address signal supplied from the control board 39 coincides with the address set in the switch part 48. Then the control board 39 is informed of whether or not each switch 20 detects the body. Therefore, when the addresses set in the respective switches 20 are made different, the control board 39 can identify from which switch 20 a signal arrives even if the output signals of the respective switches 20 are sent through the same cable.
