PURPOSE: To provide the structure of a flat outer nozzle for twin roll type continuous casting, in which the reinforcing efficiency is improved by reinforced pins and adhesive and the firm assembly can efficiently be realized, in the case of manufacturing the flat outer nozzle body for twin roll type continuous casting by dividing into an upper part and a lower part and integrally assembling the nozzle body by using the reinforced pins and the adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of integrating by forming the outer nozzle body 1 with the upper body 2 and the lower body 3 and using the reinforced pins 7 composed of the ceramic material together with the adhesive, the reinforced pins 7 whose outer diameter is in the range of 10-25mm, are inserted and arranged so that the reinforced strength distribution in the horizontal direction by the reinforced pins 7 becomes the ratio of the both end parts of 1 to the center part of 2-3 according to the stress distribution generated in the outer nozzle.
