Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize the structure increasing the degree of freedom in the design regarding a magnetic disk device.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a holder 31 for housing 3.5in. magnetic disk cartridges, a slider for vertically moving the holder, and a chassis for supporting the holder and slider. The chassis is provided with overhanging parts 38, 39 which are extendedly arranged at both sides from the holder. The constitution is made so that springs 50, standard items for recovering the slider, are provided on these overhanging parts, and a front bezel 34 with the size corresponding to the chassis is provided.
