Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain page expansion processing of received output information even when a picture data storage capacity is smaller than the output size designated by the output information.
CONSTITUTION: An output medium size designated in output information received from an external device and an image expansion capacity of image memories 300-302 are compared and a CPU 303 controls selection of an optimum expansion form possible for page expansion within the capacity of the image memories 300-302 based on the comparison result as a feature.
