PURPOSE: To use an article storage part as two storage chambers or a wide storage chamber corresponding to popular articles and general articles.

CONSTITUTION: In an automatic vending machine body 1 having a main door 3 which can be opened and closed, plural article storage cases 13 each equipped with the article storage part 17 equipped with an opening/closing door 21 on its front side facing the main door 3, a distributing mechanism 43 which distributes articles in the article storage part 17 to 1st and 2nd article discharge passages 55, and an article sending-out device 47 which sends the articles out of the 2nd article discharge passage 55, one by one, are provided. In the article storage part 17, a partition member 27 switches the whole article storage part between a state wherein the article storage part is all used as a storage part and a state wherein it is used as the right and left independent storage parts connecting with the 1st and 2nd article discharge passages 55 respectively is provided.
