Abstract:

PURPOSE: To mark lines on the ground with a marking-off pin by pushing a handle to move a frame forward, and to easily enable to mark arc-shaped lines by extending an arm in a state in which the end of wire pulled out from a drum is placed at the center of rotation.

CONSTITUTION: Wheels 2 and 3 respectively larger and smaller are pivotally supported under a frame 1, and a handle 5 is tiltedly fixed on the frame with a support plate 6. An arm stay 8 is inserted into an arm holder 7 which is merged into the frame 1, so that the arm stay freely goes in and out, and at an arm holding plates 10 which are fixed to the both ends of the frame 1, arms 9 are rotatably held with shafts 11, respectively. Marking-off pins 12 are slantly fixed respectively under the center of the arm holder 7 and near by one end of the arm 9. A drum 15 around which a wire 14 is wound is pivotally supported on a drum holding plate 13 with L-shaped side plate fixed on the arm holder 7. When the device is used, the handle 5 is pushed to move forward the frame 1, and the tips of the marking-off pins 12 mark lines on the ground.
