Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable combustion of fire retardant fine powder fuel by a method wherein a cyclone separator is arranged between a burner nozzle and a fine powder-form fuel feed pipe, separated high concentration fine powder is charged toward the inside of a vortex, and low concentration fine powder is charged toward the outside of the vortex. SOLUTION: A burner nozzle 2 is arranged downwardly slantly at the furnace wall of a furnace 1. Injected air-fuel mixture is ignited to form an U-shaped flame 3 by buoyancy. A port for fuel auxiliary air and a port through which fuel is injected are then vertically alternately overlapped. In the port through which fuel is injected, the two ports of a port for high concentration air-fuel mixture and a port for low concentration air-fuel mixture are laterally arranged. Namely, fine powder fuel conveyed by primary air is separated into rich air-fuel mixture and lean air-fuel mixture by a separator 7 and injected in a furnace for ignition combustion. Further, fine powder is charged in the direction of the inside of a swirl flame vortex and low concentration fine powder is charged toward the outside of the vortex.
