CONSTITUTION: In a thermal recording body provided with a thermal recording layer having as main components a colorless or light color leuco dye and a developer which makes the leuco dye color at heating, an unwoven cloth which has a polyolefin fiber as a main component and a surface smoothness of 50-1000sec. on the side having the thermal recording layer in aken smoothness regulated by J.TAPPI No. 5B is used as a support body.
