Title:
【発明の名称】新規微細藻類及びそれを用いた二酸化炭素固定化方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2894540
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To help prevent the rise in the carbon dioxide level in the environment by culturing, in an atmosphere of carbon dioxide of a high level, fine algae having carbon dioxide assimilativity and viable even at elevated temperatures and at high concentrations of carbon dioxide to make use of the fine algae for immobilizing carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION:Chlorella sp. H-84, a kind of fine algae, has carbon dioxide assimilativity and the following characteristics: growing temperature range: 20-42 deg.C ; optimal growing temperature: 40 deg.C; and optimal growing CO2 concentration: 20-30%. CO2 can be immobilized by culturing the fine algae in the presence of a gaseous substance containing CO2 at high concentrations, e.g. in the presence of an exhaust gas from thermoelectric power plants, etc., fermentation gas, exhaust gas from automobiles or civic life, etc.
