Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate data input by providing a key image display position change mode means, a means for specifying its key image, a means which shifts the key image in position when the movement destination of the image is indicated, and a means which displays the key image at the position. CONSTITUTION:The input device is provided with an optical coordinate detecting mechanism part 102, a key image discrimination part 103 which detects the coordinate values of an indicated point and discriminate which key image display area the coordinate values are present in, a mode determination part 105 which sets a mode where the display position of each key image is changed by the operation of a positioning mode key 104, and a control part 107. When a point on a specific key image displayed on a display unit is indicated, the coordinate values of the indicated point are detected and the indicated key image is discriminated according to the coordinate values of the point and display area data on each key image and outputted. Consequently, the position of a key image is changed into the arranged of the key image that the user desires, the data input is facilitated, and error-free data input becomes possible.
