Abstract:
PURPOSE:To carry out a sewage treatment with excellent deodorizing effect by treating a substance to be oxidized in a liq. component separated by heating and evaporating a sewage after it is oxidatively decomposed in an electrolytic process. CONSTITUTION:A sewage fed in a heating and evaporating apparatus is heated and the majority of a liq. component is evaporated. Steam produced in the heating and evaporating apparatus 4 is cooled in a cooling apparatus 5 and is turned into a liq. This liq. is fed in an adjusting tank 7 and is mixed with an electrolyte soln. fed from an electrolyte soln. feeding apparatus 8, e.g. a salt water to elevate an electric conductivity. Then, a DC is energized while the liq. with a const. flow rate is passed through in an electrolytic flow path formed between an anode and a cathode in an electrolytic reaction apparatus 9. Active oxygen formed thereby is reacted with the substance to be oxidized in the liq. to decompose the same. It is possible thereby to perform a sewage treatment with excellent deodorizing effect.
