CONSTITUTION: The lateral-longitudinal movement and rotation of a moving table 4 is performed by A Z-axis driving means, an X-axis driving means and a rotatory-driving means, and a spindle head 6 is further moved in the Y-axis direction to control the relative position relation between the machined face of a workpiece 33 and the blade edge of a machining tool 32, thus performing specified machining to the machined face. At the time of changing machining work, the machining tool 32 to be fitted to a tool holder is changed, and a sliding part 8 is moved in the U-axis direction to change the distance between the axis 31 of a main spindle and the blade edge of the machining tool 32. This enables plural kinds of machining work such as plane milling, boring and outer diameter machining, and moreover shaft cutting.
