Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the selection of various self-traveling ways for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This travel controller has a main switch 46 which performs the switching between a control state where the automatic travel is possible and a control state where the manual travel is possible, sets plural modes in the control state of the automatic travel and selects one of these modes, and a switch 69 which detects a person who got on a golf car 1. Then the control state of the automatic travel is automatically switched to the control state of the manual travel by the detection signal of the switch 69 when some of the above modes are selected. When the mode of another part is selected among those modes, the control state of the automatic travel is kept as it is regardless of the presence or absence of the detection signal of the switch 69.
