PURPOSE: To make attachable/detachable altogether at once plural number of attachment elements comprising an attachment for adjusting a coiling diameter, to shorten time required for the attaching/detaching, to rationalize related transporting operations and also to contrive reduction in cost and manpower through the decreased number of workers.
CONSTITUTION: For the attachment 1 attached to a tension reel for adjusting a coiling diameter, a pair of attaching/detaching jigs 4, which consist of ring members having an inside diameter larger than that of the attachment 1, are fitted in from the end of the tension reel on the side where a mandrel is not rivotally supported and are each made to engage with the circumferential part on both sides closer to the end in the axial direction of each attachment element 1A to 1E comprising the attachment. Each attachment element 1A to 1E and the pair of detaching jigs 4 are connected into one body by means of screws, then the fixing by screws are released of the tension reel and each attachment element 1A to 1E, and a cylindrical body consisting of the attachment 1 for adjusting the coiling diameter and the pair of detaching jigs 4 is moved in the axial direction of the mandrel and pulled out. Further, the attachment 1 is attached by reversing the order of these steps.
