Abstract:
The device contains an advancing means (10) for the test material, which is formed by a pair of transport rollers (16). While the test material is running through the transport rollers (16), a traversing movement takes place between these and the test material along the axes of the transport rollers (16). As uniform a wear of the transport rollers as possible is obtained thereby, thus guaranteeing a perfect advance under all circumstances. This ensures, at the same time, that the yarn run does not vary during the measuring operation.
