PURPOSE: To execute bending without applying other force than a bending moment to a bending part of a work by moving both gripping mechanism in the normal direction from the center of a bending mechanism by a distance corresponding to a bending angle with respect to a long-sized work.
CONSTITUTION: Works W0 (a)-W0 (b) are set onto wing parts B20-B28 being gripping means and rotary means, extruding parts E1-E8, E15-E16 being work feeding-out means, and positioning parts E17-E25, and bent by rotating the wing parts B20-B28 centering around bending center shafts B18-B19 in bending parts B14-B19. In this case, by holding parts B24-B28 being gripping means in the wing parts B20-B28 and holding parts B5-7 being gripping means in table parts B1-7, the works W0 (a)-W0 (b) are clamped, and moved in the direction for separating from the bending center shafts B18-B19 by the amount corresponding to a rotational angle of the wing parts B20-B28 at the time of bending.
