Abstract:
The gist of the 3D FT method for NMR image reconstitution involves the organization of excitation-measurement sequences consisting of a repetition of macro-sequences. During the macro-sequences, a gradient of the selection coding is applied (the number of coding steps may be small, in particular smaller than the anticipated resolution of the images). It is shown that this procedure is the best way of exploiting the power and flexibility of the vector processors used to bring the image reconstitution calculations to a successful conclusion. It is shown that the production of images can then be carried out in real time.
