Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for cutting into lengths a strip of material, such as a baked product in the form of a strip, which is fed continuously to the device. The device comprises a blade which is disposed perpendicular to the direction of feed of the strip of material and which defines a cutting zone, and a cutting device which is raised and lowered in a fixed time cycle and which operates in conjunction with the blade (30). The cutting device is a band (100) whose length is greater than that of the cutting zone and which is moved at right angles to the direction of feed of the strip of material.
