Title:
TASTE VALUE MEASURING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0829336
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To measure the actual taste value of sample rice by measuring the data measured on the basis of the element number standard of a multi- wavelength simultaneous light detection element by a wavelength calibration means at each time when an absorbancy spectrum is detected in a taste value lead-out process to convert and calibrate the same into data on a wavelength.

CONSTITUTION: An array type light detection element 52 is provided to simultaneously detect multi-wavelength components accompanying spectral separation and the second derivative spectrum of sample rice S in the wavelength region thereof is led out of an absorbancy spectrum. In leading out the absorbancy spectrum, calibration is performed at each time when the absorbancy spectrum is led out and the absorbancy (or absorbancy second derivative) spectrum calculated on the basis of the element number of the light detection element 52 is calibrated to data based on a wavelength of light. A wavelength calibration means is constituted of the software included in a spectrum analyser 2 and a processing means 2000. A second derivative value of a specific wavelength is selected and extracted from the second derivative spectrum of sample rice S to obtain a taste value on the basis of the regression formula preliminarily stored in a memory means by a taste value lead-out means.
