Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve drying performance, reliability by repeatedly granulating and heating raw material to enhance fluidity and a heat exchanging efficiency and dry uniformly. CONSTITUTION:The dryer for food and the like comprises a screw feeder 3 connected to a lower part of a drying cylinder 1 and a raw material supply hopper 2 to receive and feed supplying or drying raw material (a), a blower 5 connected to the feeder 3 to feed under pressure the material (a) together with input gas and hot gas, and a circulating cylinder 6 connected to the blower 5 to feed the material (a) to diffuse it into a ceiling 11 in the cylinder 1. Further, the dryer comprises a plurality of stages of partition plates 12 with dropping holes arranged in the cylinder 1, heating means 20 attached to the plates 12, and agitating scrapers 15 arranged on the plates 12.
