Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform a loading of reels into a buffer magazine of a packaging machine by a simple method. CONSTITUTION: A device 6 for use in loading reels 2 onto a packaging machine 1 has a post 9 which can be positioned adjacent to a buffer magazine 3 at the packaging machine 1 where a plurality of reels 2 are set. A lift element can be moved in a longitudinal direction in respect to the post 9 and has a support member 11 for use in carrying a reel 2a to be loaded into the buffer magazine 3. There is provided an operating device for rotating the support member 11 between a first angular position where the support member 11 is arranged to receive this reel 2a and a second angular position where it faces toward the buffer magazine 3.
