PURPOSE: To reduce the development of a cast billet which does not meet the range of the component standard, to improve the product yield, to prevent the mixing and enclosing of slag into the cast billet, to improve the quality of the cast billet and to satisfy alloy components to the component standard while simplifying the construction.
CONSTITUTION: In this apparatus, a groove 21 for passing through molten metal 19, a crucible 6 for adding and blending the alloy elements, plural filters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 arranged to each of the groove 21 at the upstream side and the downstream side of the crucible 6 and a blending trough 30 having heating means 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 for indirectly heating the molten metal 19 in the crucible 6 at the outer periphery of the crucible 6 are arranged at the last rear part of casting line.
