Abstract:
The invention relates to a wash column, in which a liquid that is introduced from above is brought into close contact in counter-current with gases or vapours or lighter liquids. The invention relates more particularly to an assembly for distributing liquid to a plurality of liquid supply points (18) in a three-dimensional reaction packing (8), in which the liquid which flows from a limited number of flow points (14) of a liquid distributor (4) is distributed over a wider area to the plurality of supply points (18) of the packing (8) via a liquid distribution adapter (6). Said adapter (6) consists of linear liquid guide elements (20), which are branched in stages and thus subdivide the stream of liquid supplied from a flow point (14) into a plurality of equal partial streams. In a preferred embodiment, the adapter (6) consists of tubes which are joined together at each branching junction, whose lower ends continue to form the tubes of the packing (8), thus being configured with the adapter (6) as a single piece.
