Abstract:
The method involves placing data specifying the geometric design, physical characteristics and/or other specifying data of the part in and/or on the part in a suitable memory component and reading the data into an evaluation unit at predefined times or at predetermined intervals using a suitable reader. The data are compared with stored data in the evaluation unit and the result can be used to influence the functionality of the part and/or system. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the method.
