Abstract:
The invention concerns a continuous packaging technique whereby a volume of compressible material is compressed between two convergent conveyors, the volume being initially placed and driven during the compression between two continuous packaging film strips, mutually linked on either side of the volume once the required degree of compression has been reached. The invention is characterised in that after having left between two consecutive volumes a length L of packaging film on each strip, the distance between the rear end of a first volume and the front end of the next volume is adjusted such that it is equal to the length L at the time when the two strips are mutually tied in the packaging step. The invention is useful for conditioning insulating products based on mineral wool.
