Abstract:
The shaping of starting materials (V 1) such as woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, laid materials, having a large width-to-thickness ratio, into hollow profiles (H 1) is effected in such a way that substantially no sliding friction takes place between the material and the shaping tool or tools (1). In this respect, the parts (1.1) of the tools which contact the material are designed as endless, revolving components, e.g. endless belts (1.1.1) extending around guide rollers (1.1.2), one of which is driven, mounted on frame elements (1.1.3).
