PURPOSE: To produce new amino-substituted benzoylguanidine useful as antiarrhythmic preparations having cardiac protecting components for preventing infarction, treating infarction and treating stenocardia.
CONSTITUTION: Benzoylguanidine is expressed by formula I {R (1) and R (2) are each an amino group-NR (3) R (4) [R (3) and R (4) are each H, 1-6C alkyl, 3-7C cycloalkyl, or R (3) is phenyl-(CH2)p-((p) is 0 to 4), phenyl (substitutable with F, Cl, methyl or methoxy), or R (3) and R (4) together be a methylene chain]} or the pharmaceutically tolerable salts thereof such as 4-chloro-3-(1- pyrrolidino) benzoylguanidine. The compd. of formula I is obtd. by allowing the compd. of formula II (X is a nucleophilically easily substitutable leaving group) to react with guanidine of formula III. The compd. of formula I is also suitable for preparations at the time of surgical treatment such as organ transplantation or for treating allergic, cardiac, hypovolemic and bacterial shocks.
