Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain a continuous ion exchange treatment by sustaining control effect on the generation of channeling and forming a deposited layer of resin in the rotary type column and executing the ion exchange treatment and regeneration treatment as a series of operation. CONSTITUTION:The ion exchange resin is housed in an ion exchange treating room 6 interposed between a peripheral porous member 2 and an inner peripheral porous member 1. The peripheral diameter of the ion exchange treatment room 6 is longer than the length of rotating axial direction and, into this rotary axial part, a rotary type column arranged with hollow shaft 3 having liquid supply and draining orifice are provided. Also, into the column housing chamber 5 heremetically sealed, a relevant rotary column is interposed in freely rotable state, and pipes for liquid supply and drainage are provided. In addition, the ion exchange treating room 6 is equally devided into plural rooms by deviding plates 9. Consequently, while controlling the generation of channeling, a deposited layer of ion exchange resin is formed into rotary type column, thus effective ion exchange treatment is attained.
