Abstract:
Draining device and a method for controlling washing in a full automatic washing machine is disclosed, which permits a pulsator and a washing/dehydrating tub operated in fixed, rotating, fixed/rotating, and fast speed rotating modes, the full automatic washing machine including a clutch mechanism having a clutch lever movably fixed to an outer frame of the clutch with a bolt and a brake lever movably fixed to a fixed frame and interlocked with the clutch lever by a clearance adjusting screw, a connecting piece disposed at an end of the clutch lever and having a variable projection, a fixed piece to a drain system, and a hooking piece for a connecting lever on the geared motor, a drain valve connected to the fixed piece, and the geared motor connected to the hooking piece through the connecting piece for varying a projection on the connecting piece, whereby the full automatic washing machine rotates the pulsator and the washing/dehydrating tub in regular and reverse directions respecti vely in a fixed or rotating mode stops the washing/dehydrating tub after running for a predetermined time period from opening of a washing machine door to rotate the pulsator only in a rotating/fixed mode, and rotates the washing/dehydrating tub and the pulsator at a high speed on the same time in a fast speed rotating mode.
