Title:
IC CARD READER-WRITER AND IC CARD SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3823281
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card reader-writer capable of eliminating the selective input of an application by a user and simplifying an operation in an IC card system for performing plural application processings by one IC card.
SOLUTION: This reader-writer 2 is provided with antenna coils 20 and 21 capable of transmitting and receiving clock signals and data signals independently and in non-contact with one IC card, a transmission/reception circuit 23 for transmitting and receiving the clock signals and the data signals through the antenna coils 20 and 21 and a control part 25 for controlling the transmission/reception circuit 23. Then, based on initial response signals from the IC card to the clock signals transmitted by one of the antenna coils 20 and 21, the control part 25 selects the processing of received data signals.
