PURPOSE: To automate window business by collating the fingerprint data and seal data of an IC card possessor registered in the memory area of an IC card with the fingerprint data and the seal data of an IC card user read at the time of a transaction.

CONSTITUTION: After the formal truth check of the inserted IC card, an IC card processing part 11 transfers the fingerprint data and seal data of the IC card possessor registered in the memory area in the IC card to a main control part 17. A fingerprint reading part 12 reads the fingerprint of the IC card user himself of an automatic transaction machine 1, and a seal reading part 13 reads the imprint of the seal pressed on the slip prepared by the IC card user. By collating one or the both of the fingerprint data and the seal data of the IC card user obtained in such a way with the fingerprint data and the seal data registered in the memory area in the IC card, the main control part 17 decides the truth of the transaction. Thus, the window business can be automated.
