Abstract:
To provide an IC card which can discriminate inner control information without waiting.
An EEPROM 15 which stores a character string showing a prescribed protocol in a serial interface in one record and a data latch 14 holding information of the record containing the character string and outputting it in a serial system to outside are provided. The storage area of inner control information is provided for the same record as a record where the character string is stored, so as to be read at the same time as the character string. At inner processing of the IC card, inner control information can be used without waiting.
