Abstract:
To provide an on-ice automobile which can run as a whole safely and comfortably in a calm operation mode and does not damage the surface condition of a skating rink.
An on-ice automobile is driven by a motor and has slide skates 32 installed under a chassis 14, wherein each skate 32 is secured to the chassis 14 by expansive mechanical links having a suspension spring. A damper 40 having rocker arms 68 and a wheel with pneumatic tire is protruded beyond the peripheries of the chassis 14, driving wheels 18 and 19, and a guide wheel 34, and each rocker arm 68 is connected with the chassis 14 through a flexible torsion device 70 so as to absorb the shocks at the time of collision.
