Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an ice heat storage apparatus in which the quantity of ice in a water tank can be measured.
CONSTITUTION: An ice heat storage apparatus has an ice heat storage water tank 3 and an icemaker 2, and comprises an ultrasonic oscillator 9 and a receiver 10 installed in the tank 3, and a measuring unit 11 for transmission time of ultrasonic waves 12. The quantity of ice 4 in the tank 3 can be calculated based on the transmission time of the waves 12 in the tank 3.
