Abstract:
To provide an icebreaker propeller having a function of vertically moving a hull for assisting crushed ices.SOLUTION: Dynamic spaces 23 are provided at left and right symmetrical positions in a hull 21, upper spaces 35 are provided at left and right symmetrical positions above the dynamic spaces, and assistance devices 101 capable of assisting lifting of the hull are provided in the upper spaces. The assistance devices include support plates 38 provided at left and right symmetrical positions. The support plates are attached so as to be fixed between the upper spaces. Drive shafts 37 are connected so as to be rotatable in the support plates. An upper fan 36 is provided so as to be fixed below each drive shaft. A driven bevel gear 33 is provided so as to be fixed above each drive shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
