Abstract:
PURPOSE: To change an icon design according to which program storage medium an application program is stored at present at the time of displaying an icon menu screen so as to recognize the storage place of the program.
CONSTITUTION: A menu display table memory 15 stores icon design data by the individual application programs, and stores the storage place of the program among a ROM part 12, a floppy disk 17, and a RAM disk 18. At the time of displaying the icon menu screen, CPU 11 refers to the menu display table memory 15 and discriminates which place the application program being the object of icon display is stored at present. Consequently, the icon design is changed in accordance with the program when the storage place of the program is altered.
