Abstract:
To reduce the demerit peculiar to a microwave system that an ID tag becomes unusable by the consumption of a battery.
When a magnetic flux generated from a reader/writer 2 is received by a loop coil 7 as an activation command, an activation control circuit 5 permits the power supply to an internal circuit 3 of the battery 6. Thus, the internal circuit 3 is activated and performs data transmission by microwaves with the reader/writer 2 through an antenna 4 for transmission/reception. The activation control circuit 5 stops the power supply of the battery 6 when signals for indicating that the data transmission is ended are inputted from the internal circuit 3.
