PURPOSE: To enable an identification carrier to have mechanical/non-mechanical identification functions and to use the two identification functions separately, and to combine them freely.
CONSTITUTION: An identification carrier is provided with an operation member 1 for transferring the force of one who operates to a locking device and an identification member 2 that can be mounted. The operation member 1 is provided with a tongue-shaped shank 11 that is inserted into the cylinder opening of a lock cylinder and can be provided with a mechanical identification function. The identification member 2 that can be mounted is identified in a form so that it can be engaged to a connection element 12 of the operation member 1 in the form of the shank 11. When the identification member is inserted into the lock cylinder, a reader detects the non-mechanical identification function and at the same time the mechanical identification function is located at a position for mechanically releasing the lock. Then, by rotating the identification member while it is inserted into the lock, it can be used as a means for transferring force for operating the carpenter's square of the lock.
