Title:
IDENTIFICATION MARK PRINTING APPARATUS OF PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6369675
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To certainly print an ID mark at desired density, by providing a control part for repeatedly printing the same discrimination mark on the same area of paper corresponding to a condition according to the printing command of the identification mark.

CONSTITUTION: When a bar code like ID mark printing order is inputted to a sub-control part 42 from a higher rank apparatus UCE through a main control part 41, a motor 27 and a printing head 14 are driven through driver circuits 44, 45 to perform the printing of an ID mark and the motor 27 is driven in a reverse direction to return the printing head 14. Next, the detection output of an ID sensor 37 is taken in the main control part 41 through an amplifying and shaping circuit 43 and the ID mark is read to judge whether printing is well, but, when printing is inferior, the ID mark is again printed on the same area repeatedly. However, when printing is inferior even if printing is performed two times, the main control part 41 performs printing abnormality processing. By this method, the ID mark can be certainly printed at desired density and no reading error is generated.
