An identification tag attaching system S includes: an identification tag wire member forming device 10 for forming an identification tag wire; and an identification tag wire member attaching device 12 for attaching the identification tag wire member formed by the identification tag wire member forming device 10 to a tied bundle 125. In the identification tag wire member forming device 10, an identification tag attaching part for attaching an identification tag thereto is formed at one end in an longitudinal direction of a linear body, and a hook part hooked to a tied wire member of the tied bundle is formed at the other end in the longitudinal direction of the linear body. The identification tag wire member attaching device 12 is moved between a receiving position where the identification tag wire member formed by the identification tag wire member forming device 10 is received and an attaching position where the identification tag wire member is attached to the tied bundle 125.
