Abstract:
To improve idle determination precision for a device to control an idle rotation speed by a throttle valve.
Based on the ON and OFF state of a load, such as an air- conditioner, the target opening IDTVO of a throttle valve is calculated from a target intake air amount ISCQ during idling. An opening CIDTVO for idle determination is set according to the target opening IDTVO. When a detecting value of an acceleration sensor is below a given value CIDAPS and a detecting value of a throttle sensor is below the opening CIDTVO for idle decision, it is determined that an idle state occurs and control of an idle rotation speed is executed.
